Players To Watch (CSI): Christina Pasaturo extended her stretch of 20+ point games to five games in a row with a 20 point outing against William Paterson.  Pasaturo is pacing the squad with 19.4 points per game, good for 41st in the country, while also averaging 6.4 rebounds per game. Angelique Price is second on the team with 45% shooting from the floor while averaging 13.6 points per game, good for third on the team.  Leading the charge on the glass has been Samantha Flecker with seven per game.  Flecker is also the leader in steals with 34 on the year which places her 17th in the nation.
Players To Watch (MC):  The Valiants are led by Kayleah McGuire with 10.4 points per game.  McGuire is also active on the boards as she is one of three players on her team averaging 8+ rebounds per game. Brittany Deieso will be the one delivering the ball to her open teammates against the Dolphins as she leads the way with 4.3 assists per game.
News & Notes: The Dolphins are putting up 75 points per game this season and outscoring their opponents by 12.8 points.  Staten Island’s defense has been stout this season and is 14th in the nation when it comes to causing turnovers as they cause an average of 26 turnovers a game. The Valiants average 23.7 turnovers a game so look for the Dolphins to capitalize off of that to give themselves a big lead in tonight’s game.  Manhattanville is also a team that likes to find their points inside as the score just one three-point basket per game.  CSI on the other hand lives behind the arc and sinks 9 three’s a game.  The Dolphins have held their opponents to an average of 62 points per game, however, the Valiants score just 57 a game. 70 is the magic number for the Dolphins as they are 6-0 this season when scoring 70 or more but they are just 1-3 when they score 70 or less.
