The College of Staten Island women’s basketball team will look to continue their win streak tonight against William Paterson University in Wayne, NY at 6:00 pm.  The Dolphins have been rolling, winning five straight while the Pioneers have been going in the other direction and have lost three straight.

Players To Watch (CSI): Christina Pasaturo has now scored 24+ points in the last four games boosting her points per game average up to 19.3 from 13.6 before she went on this scoring spree. Over her last four games Pasaturo is averaging 26.5 points per game while shooting 62% from the floor. Samantha Flecker is adding support on the scoring end, pouring in 15.2 points per game while grabbing a team high seven rebounds per game. Victoria Crea has been picking defenses apart this season, finding the open player for easy layups.  Crea is adding 7.9 points per game while collecting 3.4 assists per game, good for second on the team. 
Players To Watch (WPU):  For the Pioneers it’s Gabby Harris leading the charge with 13.6 points per game.  Tori Woetzel is collecting 6.8 rebounds per game while adding 8.6 points per game, good for third on the team.  Julie Rovito is the player dishing out the passes for the Pioneers but she will have to overcome a tough Dolphins defense to find her open teammates.
News & Notes: The Dolphins have won two of the last five games, with the last three games being decided by 9 points or less.  Last season the Dolphins nearly defeated the Pioneers but fell just short.  CSI is 3-1 on the road this season while the Pioneers are 3-1 at home.  The Dolphins’ last win over William Paterson came back in the 2008 season with an 89-80 victory. When the Dolphins score 70+ points in a game they are 6-0 this season, when they score 70 or less they are just 1-2.
