The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team is coming off a tough loss in the 15th Annual Tournament of Heroes.  The Dolphins fell to now #22 Middlebury 59-70 in the championship game of the Tournament of Heroes.  The Dolphins will have yet another tough contest against a surging Baruch team who comes into tonight’s game on a three-game win streak and a perfect 3-0 within the CUNYAC.

Players To Watch (CSI): The Dolphins are led by Frank Schettino with 15.5 points per game as well as 7.5 assists per game.  Schettino is the maestro on offense, creating opportunities for his teammates to score easy baskets with his no look passes.  Schettino is ranked 6th in the nation in assists per game.  Khaleeq Baum is the most efficient scorer for the Dolphins this season, as he scores his average of 13.1 points per game on 54% shooting from the floor.  Baum also converts his free throws as he is second on the team with 70% which trails only Robert Rossiter who shoots 88% from the charity stripe.  Kevon Murphy recorded his second double-double of the season in the championship game on Friday where he recorded a 21 point, 10 rebound night.  Murphy has had an up and down year but he benefits the Dolphins in a big way when he plays with an attacking mindset.
Players To Watch (BC): Chimaechi Ekekeugbor is the scorer for the Bearcats as he has paved the way this season with 17.4 points per game. Ekekeugbor nearly has a double-double this season with 9.8 rebounds per game. Doyin Isaac is leading the team with 4.1 assists per game while adding 14 points per game.  The Bearcats have started the same five starters every game this season with Ekekeugbor playing the most with an average of 32.5 minutes per game.
