The Dolphins are home from their warm training trip down to Miami, Florida and will use their extra training to get back in their home pool tonight and take on the Bears of St. Joseph’s College – Brooklyn at 6:00 pm.  Both the men and the women gave good performances in the FIU Sprint Invite in Miami, after they were able to pick up a big CUNYAC win over Lehman College. Tonight is senior night for the Dolphins and we will honor 9 of our student-athletes!

Swimmers to Watch (CSI): For the women Nouran Abualam will help lift the Dolphins over the Bears tonight on the boards as she has once again notched another CUNYAC Diver of the Week award for her performance in Miami. Alicia Defonte also swam well in Florida and will look to keep that trend going for the Dolphins. Tim Sweeney continues to shine on the men’s side and picked up his third CUNYAC Swimmer of the Week award after swimming past several Division I swimmers in Miami. The Dolphins will look to get support from Derek Villa in the pool as well as he continues to collect medals this season.
News and Notes: Tonight’s meet will be the first meeting between these two squads.  On the men’s side the Bears have yet to taste victory this season while the women are coming off of a win against Mount Saint Vincent.  The women have had success, picking up five wins on the year. For the Dolphins the men have yet to lose at home this season while the women boast a 2-2 record in their home pool.
