The CSI baseball team with be on the road to Wayne, NJ to face a non-conference opponent William Paterson, starting at 3:30 pm. The Dolphins are 0-3 over the past two years against the Pioneers, where they would look to clinch their first win since 2015.

Players To Watch (CSI):  Former Rookie of the Week, Nick Meola shines with his .350 batting average (7-20) with seven hits, three doubles and one RBI and is tied for second on the team with five walks. Frank Sconzo is second on the squad with 35 put outs with no errors. Josh Mercado had a solid few games with a .316 batting average (6-19) and three runs. Other than the Dolphins starting pitchers, reliever Jason Failla leads the team with two saves with a 2.33 ERA.  
Players To Watch (WPU): Mike Abate is first on the team with .360 batting average (18-50) with 15 runs, five doubles, one triple, two homeruns and seven RBIs. Eriq Colon has been a heavy hitter leading the team with three homers and 18 RBIs and is third on the team with a .298 batting average (14-47). Top pitcher Corey Martinez is 3-0 with a 2.25 ERA in 16 IP, while reliever Frank Colasante has a 1.17 ERA with 2 saves.
News & Notes: In the last meeting between the two teams, the Dolphins fell to the Pioneers 14-11. William Paterson out-hit Staten Island 19-15, where the Dolphins were led by former veteran Nick Delprete (3-6) with two runs scored and Joe Palmeri (3-6) with three runs and three RBI. Without Delprete and Palmeri the Dolphins will look to utilize their roster to fill the gaps. The Dolphins are coming off of a loss against fellow NJAC opponents Kean University and will hope to pick up a win this afternoon against the Pioneers.
