The College of Staten Island will play in their final doubleheader down in Orlando, FL, starting this morning with Franklin College followed by a rematch with the University of Rochester at 1:00 pm.  The Dolphins split their afternoon yesterday after falling in their opening game to Rochester before bouncing back against Emerson College.

Players To Watch (CSI): Nicolette Trapani will look to lead the Dolphins this morning over the Grizzlies of Franklin College.  Trapani has pitched well this young season and is 1-1 on the year.  Trapani also pulls double duty over at first base when she is not pitching.  At the plate, Patricia Riches will look to continue strengthening her numbers in her rookie season as she leads the Dolphins with a .650 batting average.  Riches also leads the team with 13 hits as well as three doubles. 
Players To Watch (UoR): Wechsler will want to have a repeat performance against the Dolphins later today as she was able to gash the Dolphins by going 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.  The Dolphins will also need to keep Blackshear in check as well as she was able to find success hitting the ball and ended 2-for-4 with a pair of runs.
Players To Watch (FC): Monica Collins leads her squad with a .571 batting average while also tallying a team-high four stolen bases.e Alexis Tarver cleans the bases as she leads her team with 12 RBIs on the year and will hope to improve upon that mark this afternoon.
News & Notes: The Dolphins have played quality baseball in Orlando, FL and will want to close the trip with a pair of wins against quality opponents.  Franklin College also played the University of Rochester yesterday and suffered the same end result as the Dolphins. Staten Island will need to play a clean game against both the Grizzlies and the Yellowjackets to come out on top as both team’s are very disciplined.
