The CSI Baseball team will host the 14th Annual Grace Hillery Breast Cancer Awareness Game against Drew University at the CSI Baseball Complex starting at 7 pm. The Dolphins will honor Breast Cancer Survivors, prior to the first pitch.

Players To Watch (CSI): Jett Nouvertne has become a big asset to the Dolphins game, as he went 3-for-6 in a doubleheader against City College of New York, including three runs. Nouvertne has a batting average of .389, good enough for first on the team, with four doubles, one triple, and 12 RBIs. Recent CUNYAC Player of the Week, Glenn Glennerster, has been lethal at the plate as he reached a base every game the past week and leads the team with three homeruns. Glennerster has a .361 average and is tied for second with 15 RBI. Josh Bernstein, who was also awarded CUNYAC Pitcher of the Week, improved his ERA to 1.50 in 12 IP. Pitcher Tom Musso (3-0) allowed only one hit against CCNY and is first on the team with 26 strikeouts in 31 IP.
Players To Watch (DU): Team leader, Marc Cohen, sits atop with .355 batting average with 20 runs, two doubles, one triple, and 14 RBIs. Mike Miraglia leads the team with two homeruns, six doubles, and is second with 18 RBIs. Zach Lipshitz is first on the team with 19 RBI and is tied with Miraglia with six doubles. Lipshitz has a batting average of .293, with 15 runs. Pitcher Tommy Broyles has an impressive .93 ERA in 29 IP, with 23 strikeouts and two walks, allowing him to become ranked nationally.
News & Notes: The Dolphins are on a four-game win streak and have also defeated Drew three years straight. In last year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Game, the Dolphins toppled Drew, 13-4, as Frank Sconzo went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs. Bernstein pitched into eight innings allowing nine hits, four runs, and three strikeouts. Both teams are given the opportunity to help strike out breast cancer, one inning at a time. Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the evening, a majority courtesy of local merchants and Major League Baseball.
