The men’s baseball team will host non-conference opponent United States Merchant Marine Academy at the CSI Baseball Complex starting at 6:30 pm. The Dolphins will take advantage of the nice weather and get on their home field for just the fourth time this season.

Players To Watch (CSI): Nick Meola continues to pace the way for the Dolphins as he went 2-for-5 in Monday’s game against John Jay with .362 average for the season. Meola has a team-high with nine RBI. Frank Muzzio is second on the team with a .325 average, three RBI, and two doubles. Anthony DiMarco, who suffered an injury mid-second game against John Jay, sits third on the team with .314 average. DiMarco is first on the team with six doubles and is tied for second with eight RBI. Star pitcher, Ryan Kennedy, will be critical for the Dolphins defense as he is nationally ranked with a 0.96 ERA and is 2-1 in the season.
Players To Watch (USMMA): Jesse Reinebold is having a dominating season as he racks in a .514 batting average (19-37) with two doubles. Matthew Thomson is second on the team with a .304 average, one triple, two doubles, and the team’s lone home run of the season. Pitcher, Patrick Morgan, has a 1.80 ERA in 5.0 IP with eight strikeouts and four walks.
News & Notes: In the last meeting between the Dolphins and USMMA, Staten Island notched their third straight win against the Blues. Muzzio had a solid game, went 3-4 at the plate with one RBI. Frank Sconzo went 2-2 with three runs and pitcher, Josh Bernstein won his second game of the 2016 season. The Dolphins are on a two-game win streak, despite the Tuesday cancelation against Mount Saint Vincent.
