The College of Staten Island is on a seven-match win streak and after a successful week, freshman Tao Lin has been named the Rookie of the Week by the City University of New York Athletic Conference.  It is the first weekly award won by Lin in his career and comes on the heels of a perfect week by the first year player.

Lin has been streaking, having won eight-straight doubles matches and all three of his singles matches this season.  Two of the three singles matches came last week, against Brooklyn College and York College in straight sets.  In doubles, where Lin shines, he went 3-0 with three different partners and at all three flights.  He added another doubles win this week against Oneonta.  He is a team-best 8-2 this season in doubles and he is one of three Dolphins to boast an undefeated record in singles this year, going 1-0 in the No. 5 position and 2-0 at No. 6.

The Dolphins will be taking their perfect run through April out to Ramapo College today at 4:00pm in Mahwah, NJ for a non-conference test before returning home on Friday to take on Baruch College at the CSI Tennis Center.
