This is a Call for Nominations for the 13th annual CUNY Women’s Leadership Conference. This year, the conference theme is “Celebrating 100 years of Suffrage and Strategizing Next Steps for Forward Momentum.” The conference is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 27 from 9:00am to 2:45pm at Hunter College/CUNY. Registration and Buffet Breakfast will be from at 8:15am to 8:50am. Hunter is located at 68th Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. The goal of this invitation-only conference is to inspire women students with demonstrated leadership qualities to further develop their skills and realize their potential as leaders.
We may invite ten female students to attend this conference and are asking that you nominate students who you think are interested, available, and will gain something from the experience. Please consider academic success in making your nominations. It is our objective to send a diverse cohort of women from freshmen to graduate students. To nominate one or more students, please complete the CUNY Women’s Leadership Conference nomination form. Include name, CUNY EMPLID, address, cell phone number, email address, and a statement about the student and why you are nominating her by Wednesday, Oct. 4 by 11:45pm. If you can confirm your nominee’s availability to participate, in advance of her nomination, that would be helpful.
In addition, we are able to invite three faculty members to attend.
