The CSI Office of Student Life and MCU (Municipal Credit Union) are working collaboratively this fall to provide CSI students with free financial education seminars through the award-winning Financially Fit Series. These workshops will speak to the importance of Budgeting, Identity Theft, and Understanding Credit.
MCU will facilitate three educational, interactive seminars throughout the fall 2017 semester on campus, featuring various topics including paying for school, keeping your finances on track, debt management, and establishing and protecting your credit. MCU’s Financially Fit Series was established to provide a basic understanding of personal finance topics, to both instruct CSI students and provide them with the tools and education to lessen their financial stress. All workshops will take place on a Tuesday during Club Hours in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Room 211 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm and all are CC CLUE events Workshop dates and topics are:
- Sept. 26. – Understanding Credit
- Oct. 17 – The Importance of Budgeting
- Nov. 14 – Identity Theft
