The College of Staten Island women’s volleyball team is back in action tonight in Morristown, NJ as they take on St. Elizabeth. The Dolphins have been idle since Saturday and will look to pick up a win and snap their two-match losing skid.

Players to Watch (CSI): CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, Teresa Maresca will be in action tonight and will look to continue her outstanding play.  Maresca is coming off of a 13 kill, two service ace match over St. Joseph’s – Brooklyn. Jessica Cafiero has taken over the role of setter and has excelled, collecting 156 assists through 13 matches this season. Cassidy Iannariello has played well for the Dolphins on the defensive side, leading her squad with 143 digs.
Players to Watch (CSE):  Yasmin’na Muhammad will be the danger at the net for the Eagles as she has amassed a team-high 97 kills. The Eagles have done well blocking opposing attackers this season and have 65 blocks on the year with Christy Marte leading the way with 27.
News & Notes: The Dolphins have struggled on the road this season, posting a 1-6 road record while the Eagles are 2-3 at home. The Eagles host tonight’s match coming off of a 3-1 win over Lehman College.  Both teams have played New Jersey City University with both teams picking up a loss.  The Dolphins have struggled to put a win streak together this season and will use tonight’s game to try and get the ball rolling and collect more wins.
