Samantha Flecker put the Dolphins up 6-4 with a layup which gave the Dolphins the lead for good. An 8-0 run that put the Dolphins up 20-8 by the end of the first quarter was all they needed to keep the Bearcats from clawing back into the game.

Diana Todaro had a career night, tallying her second double-double of the year with 14 points and 11 rebounds, both of which were career highs. Todaro was able to get inside and clean the glass and create second-chance opportunities.
As a team, Staten Island was dominant on the glass, outrebounding the Bearcats 50-31 and causing 21 turnovers.
Rosa Perone also came in and gave solid minutes, tallying eight points and six rebounds in 13 minutes of action. By the time the fourth quarter had come around the Dolphins held a 42-point lead after Daniela Zirpolo drained a jumper. Lina Bitar was able to get into the action when she converted a layup.
