Players to Watch (CSI): Jett Nouvertne is coming off a good series against the CCNY Beavers in which he tallied two RBI and scored a run.  Nouvertne is lethal on the bases, taking a free base whenever the opportunity presents itself. Nick Meola takes the top spot for the Dolphins, batting .333 and tallying a team-high 14 RBI. Following close behind is Sean Becker who comes in batting .310 and has 13 RBI to his name. Chris Karnbach has amassed three wins this season from the mound, tallying 10 strikeouts in 17.0 innings pitched.
Players to Watch (CNR): Jared Edwards boasts the best batting average for the Angels at .367, however, it is Albert Jose Rodriguez that claims the top spot with 19 RBI and a pair of home runs. Rodriguez, like Nouvertne, likes to steal when he can and on his 19 attempts this season he has been successful on 18 of them. In the field, however, he has committed a team-high 13 errors. Pitching in 32.0 innings, Adam Gonzalez has the teams lowest ERA at 5.34 and a 3-1 record.  Gonzalez has 21 strikeouts and has allowed two home runs this season.
News & Notes: The Dolphins will look to rebound this morning after dropping a pair to CCNY yesterday afternoon. Staten Island comes in on a four-game losing skid while the Angels come in on a two-game losing streak of their own.  This will be the first meeting between these two schools in their history.  New Rochelle has struggled on the road this season, posting a 1-15 record when they play away from home while CSI is 5-3 at the Baseball Complex. New Rochelle’s last win came last Sunday when they defeated CCNY 9-1 as part of a non-conference doubleheader.
