On behalf of the Provost Search Committee, we would like to announce that we have identified five finalists for the position of Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs at the College of Staten Island.
While we are confirming the final details, we expect the full-day campus visits to take place on:

Friday, Nov. 2

An essential part of the campus visit will be the CSI Community Town Hall. This Town Hall will most likely take place in the afternoon of each visit. As in past searches, the Town Halls will provide the CSI community with an opportunity to get to know each candidate and to provide feedback on the finalists to the search committee.
As is customary in these searches, to maintain the confidentiality of our candidates and ensure a fair process, the identity and supporting documents pertaining to each candidate will be posted to our internal Website no later than 48 hours prior to the candidate’s visit.
This is such an important and exciting time for our institution and we hope that we will have broad participation in this process from all campus constituents. During their visits, we would like to make it evident to the candidates why we have chosen CSI to be the place we work, learn, and grow. Your presence and participation will demonstrate this.
The person hired for this position will play a significant role in charting the future of CSI and it is in the best interest of all students, staff, and faculty to be actively engaged in this process.
