The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team heads to Dallas, PA in search of their first win tonight. The Dolphins fell in their opener to Montclair State but will look to find their way into the win column tonight against Misericordia University at 8 pm.

Players to Watch (CSI): Christian Taylor picked up right where he left off last season, scoring 30 points in the season opener. Taylor tallied the 30 points on 54% shooting from the floor and cashing in on four free throws. Adeola Latunji added 22 points in the opener and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds. Chamald Martin was productive in his 9 minutes on the court, converting all three of his attempts as he battled in the paint for position and used his size to get to the rim. Rigaud Destime dished out six assists against Montclair and will hope to have the same productivity tonight.
Players to Watch (MU): Stone McCreary led the team in their exhibition Monday, netting 9 points in 21 minutes of action. McCreary scored all of his points from behind the arc and grabbed a team-high six rebounds. Justin Iton and Brendan Leonard added 8 points each in that contest on 50% shooting. Patrick Douthit was quick on defense, picking up three steals in 15 minutes.    
News & Notes: This will be the second meeting all-time between these two programs. The first-ever meeting came back in 2014 in Staten Island, NY as part of the 17th Annual Tournament of Heroes. The Dolphins defeated the Cougars 66-58 before falling in the championship game to William Paterson. Tonight will be the first road test for the men this season as their opening game came inside The Tank.
