Players to Watch (CSI): Christian Taylor is coming off of his highest scoring output of the season when he netted 32 points in the loss to John Jay. Taylor will look to lead his team past the Cougars tonight as he’s averaged 18 points per game against the Cougars since he became a starter last season. Adeola Latunji has also had success against the Cougars and will hope to replicate that tonight as the Dolphins look to move above .500 in the CUNYAC. Chris Velasquez has seen his minutes increase and has been making the most of them. Velasquez scored a career-high seven points last game but what doesn’t show up in the stat sheet is his defensive effort.
Players to Watch (MEC): Justin Sutton paces the Cougars with 22.8 points per game and is coming off of a 15-point outing against Lehman College. Sutton also leads the team with 2.9 assists per game as he is the general on the floor. Jafet Thomas cleans the boards to the tune of 5.8 per game, which leads Medgar Evers. Basheeru Camara has fast hands on def and has picked up four steals per game.

Over the last five meetings, the Dolphins are 3-2 against the Cougars and have averaged 86 points per game while holding the Cougars to 69 points per game.
