The Center for Global Engagement needs your help. As many of you are aware, the “World on Wednesday” (WOW) program brings faculty, staff, and outside experts to talk to the CSI community about ideas and experiences that lead to an increased awareness of global issues. WOW is especially intended to inspire students to want to learn more about the world during their time at CSI.

Speakers talk about their own personal experience and present their topics in an informal style including audiovisual tools. Past presenters have represented the disciplines of history, economics, geography, political science, health sciences, cinema studies, environmental science, business, and literature. Discussions have focused on topics related to China, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, South Africa, and other countries or cultures.

We’re setting up our spring 2019 schedule now and are looking for exciting speakers. All lectures take place on Wednesdays from 12:20pm to 1:10pm in the Campus Center (Building 1C).

If you wish to participate or nominate another speaker, please contact Winnie Brophy at the Center for Global Engagement, 718.982.2100 or
