The Office of Student Life (OSL) would like to remind our campus community of a vital resource for students who may be facing food insecurity. If you know of a student who is having difficulties accessing food, please let them know that CSI’s Food Pantry is open weekly and by appointment to serve their needs. The pantry provides non-perishable items and is located in the Green Dolphin Lounge in the Campus Center (Building 1C). The pantry is open from 10:00am–noon every Friday during the semester or by appointment (call the OSL at 718.982.3088).
In addition, the College can help students receive a hot meal in real time due to a generous grant. Students simply need to walk into specific offices throughout the campus with their Dolphin Cards to access the program. We are able to place funds on their ID cards within minutes for use with CSI Dining Services in 1C and the Library (Building 1L).
