This week, we would like to invite you to participate in one of the following virtual training sessions being offered by the Faculty Center for Professional Development:
- Looking toward Finals: Finals Prep Virtual Drop-in Center – Less formal, office hour-style, drop-in sessions where you can come and ask any questions you have pertaining to Bb. Need help setting up your grade center in Bb? Need help creating and/or deploying tests in Bb? Unsure how to create assignment submission links or collect and review final papers and assignments from the submission links? Have another question? If so, stop by one (or more) of our virtual drop in center hours listed below and chat with one of the Faculty Center’s Blackboard LMS Specialists.
- Getting Started: An Introduction to the NEW Bb Basics Course at CSI – The Faculty Center is excited to announce we are offering the NEW Blackboard Basics course. We will be offering this multi-part, self-paced overview of all of the activities and tools needed to become proficient in the general use of Blackboard, on a weekly basis starting Monday, May 18. This new course will be open to all teaching faculty campus-wide. And for your convenience we are offering ten, course introductory overview sessions this week during which we will explain what the Intro to Bb course is in full, how you can enroll in it, as well as, answer any questions you may have about it.
There is no sign-up needed to attend, simply choose one of the sessions listed below and click on the access link provided anytime within 15 minutes of the start of the session. Once clicked, Blackboard Collaborate will appear at the top of the screen. It will show the specific training session you are joining and offer a place for you to type your name (please enter both your first and last name). Select Join Session after typing your full name.
