Gabriella Leone, Staten Island Museum Archives Manager and curator of Women of the Nation Arise! Staten Islanders in the Fight for Women’s Right to Vote will reflect on the legacy of grassroots activism for women’s suffrage. Learn about the tactics that suffragists employed to claim their right to vote and bring about political change in their community. Consider how their commitment to sparking civic engagement and political participation still resonates today.
