It is with great sorrow that we announce to the College community the passing of Calvin B. Holder, Professor Emeritus of the History Department. Dr. Holder retired in 2018 after 43 years of service at the College of Staten Island.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, sometime in the Fall. In the meantime, in lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to the Calvin B. Holder Scholarship via the CSI Foundation, by going online.
The College community sends its sympathy to Dr. Holder’s family.
