Over the past week, CSI staff, CUNY, and DASNY worked together to repair damages caused by Hurricane Ida. The campus is safe to re-open; however, there is still some ongoing work that will continue in a few specific buildings/areas.
Although the campus will be open tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 9 for in-person work, classes, and activities, the following buildings/spaces will be CLOSED for ongoing work:
1N – Entire building
2N – Entire building
2R – Child Care Center
Springer Concert Hall in Building 1P
Staff working in 1N, 2N, or 2R should continue to work remotely. All other staff are expected to resume their in-person schedules.
Classes/labs scheduled to be held in the closed buildings listed above or Concert Hall will continue to meet remotely. All other in-person/hybrid classes and labs will resume meeting on campus as scheduled.
