As of Monday, November 8, Cleared4 Will Be Required to Access the CSI Campus

As of Monday, Nov. 8, all students, faculty, staff, and visitors will be required to present a Cleared4 “Pass” to enter the CSI campus. Passes will be checked by Public Safety officers at the front and rear gates for vehicle passengers and pedestrians. Those entering the campus via CSI ferry shuttle or boarding the Loop Bus at the Front Gate will disembark at the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) in order to present their passes to Public Safety officers. Masks are required in all indoor spaces regardless of vaccination or test status (see CUNY policy regarding the mask requirement online).

The Cleared 4 “Pass” is accessible via a unique secure Webpage through a browser and can be accessed on your smartphone for display purposes, or on your pc for printing purposes.  Both smartphone displays and printed passes must be refreshed every day and include the current day’s date to enter the campus. Students, faculty, staff, and guests can find all necessary information and instructions online for returning to the campus and using Cleared4.

If you are a student or member of the faculty or staff and have not yet used or been registered in Cleared4, you should have received a “Welcome to Cleared4” email containing a personal registration link. This email was sent to your CSI email account, or the email that you indicated in CUNYFirst was your preferred email. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox. If you do not find the Cleared4 email and link, students should contact: StudentC4@csi.cuny.edu; faculty and staff should contact: HumanResources@csi.cuny.edu.

If you have guests who are not CUNY students, faculty, or staff, they also must be registered and upload their vaccination or test information in Cleared4 two to three days prior to visiting. Please refer to the Webpage link above for instructions. Faculty and staff should reference the email distributed on Monday, Oct. 25 from Campus Planning and Facilities Management Operations for more specifics on facilitating guest access to the campus.

Please note that on Monday, Nov. 8 and thereafter, anyone attempting to enter the campus without the Cleared4 pass will be turned away by CSI Public Safety.
