Laura Cohen, Distinguished Clinical Professor of Law and Justice Virginia Long Scholar, Rutgers Law School

Laura Cohen is the Director of the Criminal and Youth Justice Clinic and formerly worked for the New York City Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Division. She’s written articles on juvenile justice, parole, legal ethics, lawyering theory, and the legal representation of adolescents. She’s also spearheaded several important amicus briefs before the New Jersey Supreme Court on juvenile justice matters.

Randi Mandelbaum, Distinguished Clinical Professor of Law and Annamay Sheppard Scholar, Rutgers Law School

Randi Mandelbaum has devoted her career to working with children and families. As the founding director of the Child Advocacy Clinic, she spearheads a unique clinical program, which is aimed at comprehensively addressing the needs of low-income children and their families. The CAC provides representation to foster children, undocumented immigrant children, and low-income children with disabilities.
