CSI Today Talks, the brand-new, College of Staten Island official podcast is closing out the month of February with special guest, CSI Associate Professor and celebrated author, Dr. Grace M. Cho.
Co-hosted by CSI Communications’ David Pizzuto and Terry Mares, this week’s show features Pizzuto introducing the show and then chatting with Dr. Cho about her life and motivations around her critically-acclaimed book, Tastes Like War, a recent winner of the Asian/Pacific American Literary Prize for Nonfiction by the American Library Association. The duo chatted about Dr. Cho’s motivations for writing the book, her research on mental illness, and what she is currently doing in the classroom at CSI.
