Please note the following information:

·       Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 26 on the Great Lawn, rain or shine. The program will start promptly at 9:30am. Participants from the faculty and staff need to be at their designated locations no later than 8:15am. We strongly encourage everyone participating in Commencement to wear a face covering since this will not be a socially distanced event.

·       The Campus-wide reception sponsored, by Interim President Timothy G. Lynch and the Professional Staff Congress (PSC), for faculty and staff will be held in the Campus Center (Building 1C) West Dining Room, from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. It will be grab and go, so you can either eat in the Campus Center, outside, or return to your office.

Employees may wish to arrive early, as parking will be limited. Please understand that you may be asked to park in a different lot from where you usually park, and Public Safety personnel will direct you to designated areas as necessary. You need to ensure that you have your parking ID to show to Public Safety personnel. Employees should plan adequate travel time due to the expected delays and congestion at the Main and Forest Hill Road (D) gates. To reduce campus density, supervisors should consider flexible schedules and remote work requests on the day of Commencement while ensuring appropriate office coverage.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please call the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Engagement at 718.982.2335 or view the Commencement Website.

We look forward to a beautiful day to celebrate the Class of 2022.
