Susan L. Palmieri, an Adjunct in the Media Culture Department, passed away on Friday, July 22. Susan was retired from the New York City Department of Education, and had bachelor and master’s degrees from St. John’s University and Brooklyn College, respectively. She specialized in Speech, Theater, and Secondary Education. Susan taught COM 100, Introduction to Media, as an adjunct lecturer for more than 20 years and was beloved by many students.
There will be a Memorial Visitation for Susan on Thursday, July 28 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd. Staten Island, NY, 10314.
