I write with important information regarding transitions in leadership within the Division of Student Affairs. As many of you know, VP Jennifer Borrero has tendered her resignation, effective Sunday, Aug. 14. I wish to thank Jennifer, who served the College first as Vice President for Student and Enrollment Services (2015 through 2019), and then as Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Engagement from 2019 through the present. Jennifer has been with CUNY for more than 20 years, having worked as Assistant Director and then Director of the Office of Compliance and Diversity at Brooklyn College from 1998 through 2010, and then as University Dean of Recruitment and Diversity at the Central Office from 2010 through 2015, prior to joining the CSI family. Jennifer has been a strong, dedicated leader and I will miss her wise counsel, frank demeanor, and fierce advocacy for her staff and for our students. I hope you will join me in wishing Jennifer and her family well as they embark on their new journey to North Carolina, where they will be closer to family. She has left this campus a better place than when she arrived and her impact and legacy will be hard to duplicate and impossible to forget. Thank you, Jennifer!

I wish to welcome Michel Hodge to the Dolphin family as the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Strategic Initiatives.
