The Staten Island Advance recently chronicled the story of Patricia McCarthy-Hillers, who is oprganizing a first ever 5K/one-mile walk in the memory of her daughter, Brittany, a CSI graduate, was an aspiring physician’s assistant when she died last year from a ruptured brain aneurysm. Her family has since partnered with the Bee Foundation for Brain Aneurysm Prevention. The Memorial Walk will take place on Saturday, October 1, at 9am at Wolf’s Pond Park in Staten Island.
