After a three-year hiatus, the Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that the 2023 Undergraduate Conference on Research, Scholarship, and the Arts is scheduled to take place live and in-person on Thursday, Apr. 27 from 11:30am to 4:30pm in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P).
This event is one of the highlights of our academic calendar, showcasing the work and accomplishments of CSI’s undergraduate students through academic posters, artistic displays, and performances. We hope that you will join us to support and celebrate our students and recognize the work of dedicated faculty mentors from across the College.
Mentors, particularly those with independent studies, are urged to encourage their students to participate and take advantage of this invaluable experience in public presentation/performance. Acceptance to present in the conference will be based on the quality and timeliness of the mentor-approved applications with highest priority given to submissions that are based on original research or in-depth extensions of previous research.
Student application and abstract submissions are due Monday, Mar. 13, 2023 (no extensions). Faculty mentor approval of all submissions is mandatory and must be in place by Wednesday, Mar. 15, 2023.
For additional information, please visit the Conference Website or contact Lynne Lacomis (UGConference@csi.cuny.edu).
We look forward to many wonderful submissions again this year and to seeing you all at the Conference.
