The long-awaited project to replace major sections of our campus walkways is finally ready to begin. The project will be managed by the Dormitory Authority (DASNY), who have contracted JR Cruz to perform the work. Work will begin on or about Monday, Apr. 3 in the North Academic Quad, starting in front of Building 3N. The work will progress in sections so that we can keep as much of our walkways open as possible, and all buildings will be accessible throughout the project. While the work areas will be fenced in, there will be construction equipment accessing the work areas via the walkways and Loop Road.

Please use caution and remain alert when walking in areas where work is in progress. Work on the North Academic Loop, which serves Buildings 1N through 5N, is expected to continue until early June of this year. Additionally, the south side of the parking area next to 1N (non-faculty side) will be used as a staging area and will be closed for the duration of the project.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we undergo these much-needed repairs to our campus. Please contact the Campus Planning Office with any questions or concerns at facilitiesmanagementplanningandoperations@csi.cuny.edu .
