In celebration of Women’s History Month 2023, the CSI Library, in conjunction with the NYPL Todt-Hill Westerleigh branch, invite you to join us for a screening of the film Hidden Figures, in the Library Theater (Building 1L, Room 103) on Tuesday, Mar. 28 from 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
Film synopsis: “Three brilliant African American women at NASA — Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson — serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.” Based on a true story and book by Margot Lee Shetterly.
