On Thursday evening, the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Committee will officially premiere its documentary, The Path Forward: Remembering Willowbrook at The Egg, Empire State Plaza, in Albany. The documentary was made during the opening of the Willowbrook Mile last September by the DDPC. The screening event begins at 6pm.
The screening will be moderated by News 10 ABC anchor Christina Arangio and will feature a panel discussion with Bernard Carabello, Dr. Michael Wilkins, and others who lived the Willowbrook story. Registration for the event is still happening now via Eventbrite, and the event can be viewed through live stream on the DDPC Website.
