Trans Day of Visibility occurs on March 31st every year to celebrate the resilience and strength of transgender and gender diverse individuals founded by Rachel . Crandall made it a goal to create a day of celebrating the lives of transgender individuals while still making space for those who do not want to display their sexuality visibly, due to discrimination. Trans Day of Visibility also serves as a reminder of the progress that has been made for this community and the work ahead that is still needed to ensure that trans people are treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve. The more visible trans and gender diverse people get, the more powerful they are. Trans representation matters!
