The City University of New York announced, this week, that as a result of the progress it’s made against COVID-19 over the past three years, as well as the Federal Government’s decision to end its COVID emergency, CUNY will be ending its own emergency vaccination mandate for students, faculty, and staff. The change will be effective on the last day of the Spring semester, which for most colleges is Tuesday, May 23. This will allow students to enroll in classes, regardless of their vaccination status, starting with Summer sessions.
