Students: You are in the home stretch, The Spring 2023 semester is almost over – you may have been fully online, attended in-person courses, or juggled a hybrid schedule. We are proud of your persistence and resilience, and you should be proud of your hard work as well!

You can drop a class through Schedule Builder until 11:59pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. If you withdraw by Tuesday, May 16, 2023, a grade of W will appear on your transcript. While a W does not negatively affect your GPA (unlike an F), there may be other academic or financial aid consequences. Please consult your instructor, academic advisor, and a financial aid representative (if in receipt of financial aid) to understand the potential academic and financial aid implications and make an informed decision.

It is important for you to fully understand that any change to your enrollment status (full-time vs. part-time) may affect financial aid eligibility. Withdrawing from courses can have serious financial and academic implications, potentially affecting your future financial aid, VA benefits, eligibility to participate in NCAA athletic events and, for international students, visa status. Course withdrawal could also affect your progress through your academic program, pre-requisite completion, and degree-completion timeline.

Please note: you remain responsible for your total tuition and fee charges, whether you withdraw from one or all of your courses at this time.

Again, we urge you to speak to your instructor, academic advisor, or a financial aid representative prior to making this decision. Do not wait until the last day—contact them now!
