Professor Jason Bishop, who studies Linguistics and Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at the College of Staten Island and The Graduate Center/CUNY, has recently received a three-year grant from the National Science Foundation in the amount of $438,275 to create a large speech database. The project will enable researchers to catalog various differences in speech production.
