The College of Staten Island has made gains in the 2024 Best Colleges Rankings from U.S. News & World Report. The College was ranked #36 in Top Public Schools – Regional Universities (North), up from #45, last year. In addition, CSI rose in the Overall Rank – Regional Universities (North) to #103 from last year’s #124. Undergraduate programs in Economics and Psychology also made the rankings for the first time.

U.S News, once again recognized the College as a Top Performer for social mobility, and undergraduate programs in Computer Science, Engineering, and Nursing remained in the rankings, this year.

U.S. News notes that “the rankings provide a good starting point for students trying to compare schools. The four overall rankings – National Universities, Liberal Arts Colleges, Regional Universities and Regional Colleges – are based on factors that indicate academic quality, such graduation rates and faculty resources.”

Throughout the years, CSI has consistently appeared in a variety of U.S. News rankings categories.
