CSI Today Talks, the College of Staten Island’s official podcast, debuts season three today with a conversation with CSI alumna and student, Carmen Guirguis.

Co-hosted by CSI Communications’ David Pizzuto and Terry Mares, this week’s show returns with Mares interviewing Guirguis, the most senior member of CSI’s Class of 2023 who is returning to the classroom to complete another degree. Carmen, who recently turned 80, talked with Mares about her story growing up in an immigrant family, her love of education, and what made her go back to school to pursue her degree in Italian Studies, being a part of the study abroad program, and later, her Master’s in English.
