All New York State/CUNY employees are required to receive ethics training. In the past, only Financial Disclosure Statement (FDS) Filers (who are policymakers and/or employees currently earning more than $108,638 were required to complete an ethics training course.
To help satisfy this requirement, CSI’s Office of Legal Affairs and Labor Relations will be offering ethics classes this fall. The training is mandatory and will be offered via Zoom because it must be presented in real time/live. We plan to host additional trainings later in October, as well as in November and December, including a few in-person options.
You do not need to register for a training session at this time if you have attended any of the recent Comprehensive Ethics Training Course sessions offered over the last few months. However, if you have not done so, please be sure to register for a session this fall. Importantly, if you are new to CSI, you must complete this training within 90 days of beginning employment.
Please review the course offerings below and sign up for training as soon as possible. Again, if your preference is to attend an in-person session, additional in-person trainings will be offered later this semester.
