I am thrilled to announce that Dr. Ralf Peetz will be serving CSI as our Dean of Science and Technology.
Ralf brings a substantial record of experiences to this role, including service as a faculty member in our Chemistry Department and The Graduate Center, as well as serving as our Associate Provost and Interim Dean. Equally impressive are Ralf’s accomplishments, which include many contributions to the literature in chemistry, securing funding to support research and student success, developing new STEM curricula, and increasing retention and enrollment. Ralf’s dedication to CSI’s Mission is unwavering and his vision for the Division of Science and Technology is exciting. I am confident that the faculty, students, and staff of DST will continue to flourish under Ralf’s stewardship.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the Search Committee, chaired by Chief Librarian Amy Stempler, as well as the many community members who participated in the search process.
Please join me in congratulating Ralf.
