Please join the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Bertha Harris Women’s Center for a Puppies & Pizzas event, back by popular demand. Come meet an adorable therapy dog, learn about how interacting with animals supports our mental health and wellness, and share some puppy love. (Cat lovers who feel left out will be shown pictures of the Women’s Center Director’s numerous pet cats, whether they want to see them or not.) Through the generous sponsorship of Dean Sarolta Takács, pizza will help lull attendees into comfortable peacefulness.
“Puppies & Pizza II” is part of our De-Stress Day on Tuesday, Dec. 5, in Building 2N, Room 106 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. As we prepare for finals, it’s a good moment to consider your mental health, take a short break, draw a deep breath, and put things into perspective by gently patting a puppy. All are welcome at this PG CLUE event.
