The Performing and Creative Arts Department and the Art Gallery of the College of Staten Island is delighted to invite you to join us for “Looping and Linking:Crochet Circle Panel Discussion” on Monday, Mar. 11 from 4:40pm to 6:20pm in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P), Room 112.
The event is in association with the exhibition Miguel A. Aragón: Holding it all Gently and is co-sponsored by the Bertha Harris Women’s Center, and is in celebration of Women’s History Month.
The event will feature Miguel A. Aragón (PCA), Catherine Lavender (History and the Director of the Bertha Harris Women’s Center), Mildred Beltre (visiting artist), and is chaired by Siona Wilson (PCA) and Cynthia Chris (Media Culture).
We will begin with a crochet lesson for beginners. Yarn and hooks will be supplied. If you have your own project underway, feel free to bring it.
