School of Education students have been very busy with their final projects, and we want to invite you to join their final presentations. This is of course a busy time of the semester for everyone, but if you happen to be on campus and have availability, we would love to share with you some of the products of the hard work we did during this semester.
There will be four separate occasions in which you could join us:
- Today, Tuesday May 7 from noon to 2:00pm, is the grand opening of the EDE305 art exhibition, happening in the main Rotunda of the CSI Library (Building 1L). Students have some surprises in store for opening day. Please see the online poster (designed by the students, of course)
- The EDE305 art exhibition will be on view in the gallery until Tuesday, May 14. You are welcome to visit anytime the Library is open, and if you are willing to, please sign their guest book.
- EDC108 students are presenting their final projects “open-house style” in and around Building 3S, Room 203 on Wednesday, May 15 between 11:00am and 2:00pm. They would love for you to learn about (and in some ways experience) the schools they have designed, putting to work what they have learned this semester.
- EDE305 students will be presenting their final puppet shows on Tuesday, May 21 from 10:00am to 11:00am in Building 3S, Room 203. This is an interdisciplinary project that brings together the three course sections (Language Arts, taught by Stephanie Schirmer; Social Studies, taught by Deborah DeSimone; and Visual Arts) and is part of the final unit plans designed by the teacher-candidates.
