You are invited to participate in our first Disability Justice Research Consortium meeting, sponsored by the Disability Studies Minor Program and the Department of Social Work. This will be the first in a series of meetings, geared toward building community, collaboration, and visibility among disability justice-oriented scholars, educators, and advocates across the campus. This initiative is about bringing together faculty and staff conducting disability research. The goal is to learn about each other’s work, build collaboration, and strengthen scholarly community engaged in disability research, teaching, and advocacy at CSI.

The event will be held at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development in the Library (Building 1L), Room 203 on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided.

If you have any access needs, please let us know ahead of time. For further details, please contact either Dr. Vandana Chaudhry, Department of Social Work, or Dr. Russell Rosen, Department of World Languages and Literatures.

We hope to see you there.
