We are excited to announce the availability of new asynchronous learning modules accessible through the Learner-Centered Teaching folder of the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development.

These modules have been developed by four dedicated CUNY faculty members in collaboration with the Central Faculty Affairs/CUNY Innovative Teaching Academy (CITA) team. The modules focus on three key learning mindsets that are designed to promote student motivation and success.

Key Features:

  • Comprehensive Content: Each module covers crucial aspects of student motivation and success.
  • Flexibility: Complete the modules at your own pace, on your own schedule.
  • Certification: After completing the key activities (outlined at the beginning of each module) and submitting the Completion Checklist at the end, you will receive a certificate of completion.

The modules can be found online.

These modules are not only beneficial for faculty members but also for staff and administrators. We hope you find these learning experiences enriching and helpful for your classroom practices and beyond.

We encourage you to take advantage of these resources and enhance your teaching strategies to foster a more engaging and motivating learning environment for your students.
