Please join us for week six of Bertha’s Summer of Love at the Women’s Center on Wednesday, Aug. 24 in Building 2N, Room 106 from noon to 1:00pm.
We will continue our adventures into the basics of patchwork from the mid-19th-century U.S. with a variation of the Log Cabin blocks we made in week 5 called “Courthouse Steps.” Come and learn about how the traditional pattern developed and play with pattern. Any level of sewing can do this with ease.
Join a community of friendly stitchers, relax, learn, hang out, and just have fun. All supplies will be provided along with snacks and drinks.
All are welcome—students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
