CUNY Votes is a comprehensive, nonpartisan initiative whose mission is to promote student voter registration, participation, and awareness through campus-based activities, external partnerships, and University-wide campaigns.

You can now register to vote online or even on-campus with the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) located in the Campus Center (Building 1C), Room 218. You can find more information about NYPIRG online.

Below is a key list of dates:

  • Early Voting: Saturday, Oct, 26, 2024 – Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024
  • Change of Address Deadline: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024
  • Early mail/absentee ballot voter registration form request deadline (online, mail, email, fax) – Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024
  • Voter Registration Application Deadline: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024
  • Early mail/absentee ballot request (in-person): Monday, Nov. 4, 2024
  • General Election: Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024
  • Deadline to return early mail/absentee ballot: Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024

The Office of Student Life has limited materials in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (traditional and simplified), French, Creole, Hindi, Korean, Polish, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, and Urdu regarding key dates, voting information, and more located in 1C-201. Feel free to stop by Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
