Over the summer of 2024, CSI Student Government purchased 20 bottle filling stations and our facilities team installed two stations in each of the quad buildings (ten buildings total). You can find the stations located on the right side of the first floor, and left side of the second floor.
The CSI Sustainability Office has been monitoring the usage of these machines on a monthly basis. In Oct. 2024, the total number of water bottles saved by using these machines instead of single use bottles was 5,667. We are happy to share that in Nov. 2024, this number increased by almost 79%, up to 13,053 bottles saved. Keep it up. Please bring your own reusable water bottles and make use of these machines.
